The Jengaburu Curse

An unexpected call brings Priya, a London-based financial analyst, back to Odisha in search of her father: Professor Das, imprisoned for three years for defending the Bondria tribe (fictional) of Kendujhar. A string of strange occurrences follows close behind her. Amid bauxite mining and displaced communities, Priya uncovers a web linking London, Pyongyang, and the mining heart of Odisha — police, bureaucracy, corporations, and Juche ideology, all woven into a single entanglement.
