Trabaj\u00f3 2022-2023 en la serie \u201cJengaburu, the Curse\u201d en Odisha, Norte de India, dirigida por Nilha Panda para Sony Live, India. Otros programas realizados por Paulo P\u00e9rez incluyen t\u00edtulos como el <em>western<\/em> \u201cLa cabeza de Joaqu\u00edn Murrieta\u201d filmado en el desierto de Durango en M\u00e9xico y otra adaptaci\u00f3n del libro de Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez \u201cNoticia de un secuestro\u201d, ambos programas fueron para Amazon Prime. La direcci\u00f3n de la fotograf\u00eda se construye en torno a esta particularidad, sus escenas diurnas son hechas enteramente con luz natural, mientras que la noche es iluminada con fogatas y antorchas. Esta est\u00e9tica documental muy naturalista resulta discordante al principio, pero la introducci\u00f3n se hace m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil gracias a los personajes que cobran vida con un elenco diverso y plurietnico. Tambien a un estilo de camara a mano, que le una fuerza abrumadora y versatil a las escenas, que van de la mano de un memorable dise\u00f1o sonoro.
